Rooted in the traditions of both Ireland and Appalachia, Julee's most prominent instrument is voice. She also plays guitar, bodhrán and flute.

Julee performs solo as well as part of various musical ensembles around the U.S. with: Pete Sutherland, Joe Newberry, Al McCanless, Claudine Langille, Linda Hickman, Mark Weems, and Séad (Brian Conway, Brendan Dolan or Felix Dolan). She also performs in British Columbia with Spencer Capier, and in Europe with Martin Moro and Jozef Lupták.
